The seaside resort town Saint Tropez is still very popular, although the jetset and the in-crowd have long left it behind. Set on the lovely blue water of the Bay of Saint-Tropez, this modern version of a medieval town is most popular for the line of yachts along the quai, and the facing line of terrace cafés, divided by a parade of strolling tourists and slow cruising expensive cars

Lunch at the famous esplanade near the market.

After lunch, departure to Port Grimaud.

Called the «Provençale Venice », Port-Grimaud is a lake dwelling city at the seaside 5 km from the perched village and at the western end of the Golfe de Saint Tropez. Built on piles, Port-Grimaud can certainly be referred to as France's most beautiful waterside town.
In this modern "old-port" village was built in 1998. Each house was designed to rigorously copy an authentic Provencal style, and the modern result is actually quite harmonious. Here, canals replace streets and boats replace cars, which are banished to the exterior car parks. Port-Grimaud's little bridges and canals, tiny lanes and "fisherman's houses", painted in jolly colours, lend the village immense charm.
